Hi,. My name is Briselda, Chef and owner of PerMex Delights! Peruvian and Mexican catering services. I’m delighted to bring catering services to Lane County. I’m originally from Acapulco, Mexico, where I learned from my mother and grandmother the art of crafting authentic Mexican dishes infused with ancient, treasured flavors and techniques in their wood stove. Later, my curiosity for international flavors led me to learn Peruvian cuisine alongside my then mother-in-law. PerMex Delights was founded to provide delicious cuisine and visually appealing dishes that bring joy to our customers. We believe that life is too short for ordinary food. We can’t wait to make your special event delightful.

Anabel Barrera
PerMex At Home Private Chef - Mexican Food
We are pleased to introduce our newest team member, Chef Anabel Barrera, originally from Oxtotitlán Guerrero México and living in the U.S. for over 30 years. Anabel brings expertise in traditional Mexican culinary techniques and authentic flavors. Chef Anabel’s passion for cooking began at age six, experimenting with toy tea sets and play kitchens. She learned from her father, whose culinary enthusiasm was passed down through generations from her mother and grandmother. This background fostered a deep appreciation for the culinary arts and a creative approach to flavor combinations, resulting in signature dishes. Her work consistently emphasizes presentation, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Her dedication to the culinary arts was showcased during her high school senior project, which involved creating a bilingual cookbook featuring her original Mexican recipes. She also prepared mole and used traditional Mexican clay cazuelas, along with a mortar for making authentic salsas—a testament to her commitment to authentic techniques.
