In this class you will learn how to make a popular comfort street Mexican appetizer made from thick corn masa dough and split open and stuffed with ingredients like meat, beans, cheese, or chicharrón (pork rind) and topped with shredded lettuce, crumbled queso fresco, fresh salsa, and sour crema. Cooked either fried or on a comal.
What to Expect:
- An intimate hands-on cooking class (max of 9 participants)
- Opportunities to build community while exploring the background and cultural significance of the dish.
-Our classes are always a good time full of laughter and great food.
- Participants are welcome to take any leftovers home.
